CDL Driver
Accell Construction Operates as a civil contractor, primarily in the oil and gas industry. We are based out of Cushing Oklahoma. We are currently seeking to hire a Class A CDL driver with end dump and belly dump. We have jobs located throughout Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas so travel will be required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently across various routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trailers, including belly dumps and end dumps. Jobs can last up to 8 weeks at a time and overnight travel will be required for the duration of project. Pay will be based on experience. Pay will be hourly plus per diem when traveling.
Responsibilities:
- Operate end dumps and belly dumps to transport materials such as gravel, sand, dirt, and construction debris
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Safely load and unload materials
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures
- Communicate with management and job site supervisors
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience preferred (end dump and belly dump)
- Knowledge of local roads and job site safety protocols
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Must have clean MVR
Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug test per DOT regulations
Must be able to work out of town for 6-8 weeks at a time
Preferred:
- Experience with construction or excavation sites
Mechanical knowledge for basic truck troubleshooting
Oversized experience is a plus
Diesel Heavy Equipment/Tractor-Trailer Mechanic
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment, as well as tractor-trailers (including tire repairs), to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our fleet operational, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity across various construction sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics passionate about heavy equipment, with a focus on diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs. Please Note: This position will require the ability to be on site from 6-8 weeks at a time. Must have own hand tools. Specialized tools will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery using OEM schematics and automotive diagnostics tools.
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, brake repairs, transmission servicing, tire service, and air brake adjustments to keep equipment running smoothly.
Repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, suspensions, steering components, and electrical systems with precision using hand tools and power tools.
Fabricate parts or modifications as needed to enhance equipment performance or address specific operational requirements.
Use welding and soldering techniques for structural repairs or custom fabrications on heavy machinery components.
Interpret technical schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot complex issues involving hydraulics, HVAC systems, powertrains, and electrical wiring.
Operate heavy equipment and/or tractor-trailers safely during testing phases post-repair to verify proper functioning before returning machinery to service.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed for compliance and future reference.
Requirements:
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, or farm machinery. CAT experience or certification a huge plus.
Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and alignment procedures.
Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues across mechanical and electrical systems.
Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; familiarity with power tools is essential.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely during diagnostic testing or post-repair assessments.
Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
Knowledge of HVAC systems related to industrial equipment is a plus; familiarity with tire service and vehicle maintenance is beneficial.
Heavy Equipment Operator
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of heavy equipment, including: excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, graders, loaders and forklifts on construction sites. This position requires demonstrated skill in equipment operation, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively with construction teams. Requires on-site presence at remote job sites for six to eight weeks at a time, possibly longer.

Responsibilities:
- Perform site preparation actives including excavation, grading, trenching, material loading, and backfilling
Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment to ensure proper working condition and identify maintenance needs
Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment while maintaining proper load balance and safety protocols
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and daily activities
Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Minimum 2-5 years of verified experience operating heavy equipment in construction environment. Experience with a 730 Off-Road Articulating Dump Truck a huge plus.
Demonstrated proficiency in operating various types of heavy equipment
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, grade stakes, and site plans
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain and dust
Outdoor construction site environment, with exposure to varying weather conditions
Potential exposure to dust, fumes, and vibration
Travel to multiple job sites may be required
